Watershed Ecohydrological Processes in a Changing Environment: Opportunities and Challenges

Basin ecohydrological processes are essential for informing policymaking and social development in response to growing environmental problems. In this paper, we review watershed ecohydrology, focusing on the interaction between ecological hydrological processes. Climate change human activities most important factors influencing water quantity quality, there is a need integrate socioeconomic into paradigm of process studies. Then, propose new framework integrated management. It includes (1) data collection: building an observation network; (2) theoretical basis: attribution analysis; (3) modeling: medium- long-term prediction by human–nature interactions; (4) policy orientation. The paper was potential solution overcome challenges context frequent climate extremes rapid land-use change.
